Short/Medium Term Accommodation
Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA) refers to somewhere to live while waiting to be confirmed for long-term accommodation/ Supported Independent Living (SIL). MTA is usually funded for up to 90 days.
Short term accommodation, including respite, is funding for support and accommodation for a short time away from your usual home. It covers the cost of your care in another place for up to 14 days.
HD Care Short-Term Accommodation helps you and your family or career sustain a balanced life. STA gives you the chance to explore opportunities, make new friends, learn new skills, and have a break from home. Our accommodation is offered on a short-term, emergency, or planned basis, and includes overnight options. HD Care short-term accommodation is based in Preston. Your stay depends on your specific needs, however, are generally limited to 1-2 weeks at a time. We offer Short Term Accommodation every day and night of the year. We are conscious of your compatibility with staff and other participants when making reservations. The level of support provided differs allowing an individual’s needs. Our friendly staff are fully qualified, and our accommodation is a home-like environment, so you will be experiencing relaxation when away from your home.
